What is Ventura County Restaurant Week?

When is Ventura County Restaurant Week?

The inaugural Ventura County Restaurant Week will take place April 12–19, 2026, featuring eight days of dining across the county.

Participating restaurants are located throughout Ventura County, including Ventura, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, Simi Valley, Ojai, Moorpark, Santa Paula, Fillmore, and Port Hueneme.

Do I need tickets?

No tickets are required. Simply visit a participating restaurant and enjoy their Restaurant Week menu or featured dishes. Reservations may be recommended for popular restaurants.

Do restaurants offer special pricing?

How did Restaurant Week start?

Restaurant Week began in New York City in 1992 as part of a promotional effort during the Democratic National Convention. The event introduced visiting media and delegates to some of the city's restaurants.

The concept quickly grew into a city-wide dining celebration and has since spread to hundreds of cities across the United States and around the world.
